Join us for a fun night on April 18 and help us raise money for our scholarship at our annual Primavera Social fundraiser! It’s from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at Moe’s Cantina on 155 W Kinzie in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.

Our Chicago chapter focuses on supporting Latino students pursuing careers in journalism. Over the past decade, we’ve granted nearly $50,000 in scholarships to low-income students attending local universities. For some, the scholarship has been imperative to graduate. For others, the financial assistant meant they could focus on studies & an internship without seeking employment elsewhere.
Most of our scholarship recipients have worked in newsrooms in our city and across our country, ensuring that the Latino community is accurately and ethically covered. Many are still active members of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
