NAHJ Chicago Chapter Elections
The NAHJ Membership Services is accepting nominations now through June 15 for candidates to serve on the Chicago chapter.
Be a part of the change happening in newsrooms across the country by taking the lead in an organization like NAHJ.
The following positions are up for re-election:
2. Vice President
5. Social Media Coordinator (At-Large)

Interested? Here’s how you can qualify to appear on the ballot:
Make sure you’re a member in good standing as of June 15, which means your dues must be up-to-date. Need to renew? Visit the NAHJ Membership Portal.
All the officer candidates must collect 5 unique nominations from NAHJ chapter members in good standing. Only Regular, Academic, Lifetime members with a regular membership type are eligible to sign and vote for all positions.
Submit your nominations by June 15.

2022 Election Timeline for Chapter Board Elections:
June 15: Deadline to submit 5 signatures. Date of the record: deadline to become a member in good standing and be eligible to vote.
June 15-23: Vetting process. The Elections Committee will screen candidates
June 23: Online voting begin (Polls open two weeks before the polls close)
July 7: Polls close at 5 p.m. ET and results are announced
