NAHJ Members Selected For City Bureau Fellowship
Please join us in congratulating two of our members who have been selected for City Bureau’s Spring 2017 Fellowship! One of them is a familiar face to NAHJ Chicago Chapter. Board Treasurer Carolina Cruz along with NAHJ DePaul Chapter member Amber Colón, and eight other journalists will collaborate on three local issues impacting people in Chicago.
Carolina and her team will report about whether Chicago is more or less racially segregated now than it has been in the past. Meanwhile Amber and her team will focus on the Garfield Park community involving issues of land use, public health and development at the former Northwest Incinerator site. We look forward to their reports!
